Who is this course for?
For everyone working on or beside roads in Sweden where Trafikverket sets competence requirements. The course covers all of APV Step 1 — competences 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 — and provides the documented basic competence required to be present and work on a road work site. Held entirely in English.
After the course you will be able to
- Meet Trafikverket’s requirements for general basic competence (step 1.1)
- Know the requirements for drivers of road maintenance vehicles (step 1.2)
- Work safely with road works close to passing traffic (step 1.3)
- Understand your role, your responsibility and the risks on the road work site

What does the course cost?
Currently 995 SEK excl. VAT (1 243,75 SEK incl. 25% VAT), regular price 1 295 SEK. Pay by card, Klarna or invoice (30 days for companies).
How long does it take?
About 2 h, entirely at your own pace — pause and resume whenever you like. Access to the course lasts at least twelve months.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. After passing the final exam you receive a personal certificate by email, valid for five years, with a QR code employers can scan to verify it. You can retake the exam as many times as you need at no extra cost.
Is the course fully online?
Yes, 100% online and entirely in English — phone, tablet or computer. You start immediately after purchase; there are no scheduled sessions.
Can we order for several employees?
